Construction Manager

Long Term contract

£400 - £450 per day, inside IR35

West Yorkshire

Are you an experienced Construction Manager looking for a long-term opportunity in West Yorkshire?

Have you worked in this capacity, leading Minor Civils Projects in the Rail and Construction Industry?

The Role

• Manage and plan current labour, plant and equipment.
• Managing budgets within set timeframes and reviewing overspend.
• Understand CDM regulations on both rail and non-rail projects.
• Previous exposure working on projects delivered under Principal contractor’s license
• Completing & maintaining accurate up to date records for all aspects of the projects.
• Assist in the development and training of new and current staff.
• Managing site activities and ensuring safety standards are delivered and maintained.

Qualifications and experience

• Hold a current CSCS manager card
• hold IOSH or an SMSTS - ideal
• Have strong communication and team management skills.
• Have an ability to challenge designs and resolve problems when required.
• Have a full driving licence and your own transport.
• First Aid at Work qualification would be advantageous.
