Role: Contract Administrator
Day rate: Market Rate
Location: London

Our client who is a major UK Rail client is looking to appoint a Contract Administrator to work on an Iconic Rail Infrastructure project in London covering all aspects of rail.

The role is to assist the commercial lead in contract management in the areas of risk, variations of ongoing works, monitor performance, analysis of contracts, writing delivery reports and recommend corrective actions. You will be working alongside various partners and internal teams such as on-site management and cost management.

The primary role for a Contract Administrator is summarised as follows:

• Report to the Lead CA
• Liaise with Contractors and other staff
• Role out, implementation and management of progressive subcontract assessment
• Subcontract (S/C) accounts change control review (valuation of S/C change) CRITICAL ACTIVITY
• Platforms/tunnels & Broadgate Ticket Hall
• Management of common components (L&E etc.), prototypes & samples
• Manage and administration of Contractor s Plant Asset Register
• Management of Risk Reduction meeting (Early Warning Notice EWN meeting Chairman)
• Manage close-out of Project Technical Request s (PTR s)
• Support Payment assessment & certification (assist other CA - Raj)
• Chief Engineer Communications (CEC) coordination and tracker
• Management of procurement including interface with programme

In order to qualify you must have:

- Excellent NEC contract knowledge within major infrastructure environment is essential
- Experience working on major Rail or Civil Engineering projects
- Experience working with contract law, compensations events and variations.
- Degree Qualified
