Cost Engineers X 3. This opportunity will allow for the right candidates to be part of one the largest infrastructure programmes in Europe to be based in in our client's Birmingham office. You will be working on once in a generation mega projects!

The successful Cost Engineer’s salary will depend on experience and the range is from £40,000-£60,000 + excellent benefits. They are also open to contract £350-400 per day

The role of the Cost Engineer will involve using the NEC contract.

You will have knowledge and/or experience of the following assuring:
Ability to work within a partnering environment, form effective working relationships and make a positive outcome to the investment programme/sub-programme
Commercial Administration of a portfolio of projects.
Production of costs plans, estimates, benchmarking analysis of schemes, awareness of WLCs.
Tendering and procuring, producing the tender list, compiling preliminaries, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents.
Support the production of commercial reports incorporating metrics (e.g. EVM, outturn analysis)
Experienced in change, risk and value management.

You must have strong experience of:
NEC contract
Working in a Project Controls environment on a major project or programme within the Nuclear, Power, Aviation, Rail or Oil and Gas sectors
At least 5 years' experience in the Cost Management of multiple multi-discipline engineering design and construction projects (>£10m Capital Expenditure).

The Cost Engineer role which will lead to a number of future opportunities within the company potentially to Director/Partner level.
