Electrical Superintendent - Tunnel
- Assisting project manager / agent / buyers with electrical procurement
- Set personal example and promote best practise in safety, quality and environment, leading meetings and promoting culture within the electrical team.
- Manage foremen, sub-contractors and the workforce.
- Management of all operational activities ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures and legislation.
- Communicate with rest of site team including engineers, quantity surveyors, safety officers, clerk of works and client to ensure full understanding of information. Pass this knowledge / information onto foremen to ensure understanding and their part in its delivery.
- Build and develop the team to deliver the electrical aspects of the project requirements
- Ensure labour, plant and materials are sufficient to meet the programme, taking accountability for its delivery.
- Ensure all operational records are up to date and in place.
- Attend and contribute to safety, programme, commercial and business meetings as necessary.
- Develop foremen and the workforce, e.g. identifying, monitoring and arranging training requirements to ensure competency and reviewing performance.
- Take an overview of the electrical works and ensure that a professional image is maintained at all times, for example in relation to interface with public areas.
- Manage / assist project manager / agent with industrial relations issues.
- Manage quality of the works to ensure client satisfaction.
- Carry out other relevant duties as required from time to time.
