Engineer (PTS)

Rate: up to £330 per day (Depending on experience)

Duration: 6 months plus

Start: ASAP

My client is looking for an Engineers to come on board and join their team based in the North West of England, working on a heavy civils rail project. The engineer will be reporting to the package manager and be responsible for the engineering control on site.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate site setting out activities to satisfy standards of contract programme requirements
• Ensuring company procedures are thoroughly adopted throughout the setting out process, and acting as the point of communication between head office and site staff
• Effective planning to ensure that most effective use of resource, methods and controls are engaged
• Taking individual accountability to ensuring that project goals are met
• Read site plans and facility drawings ensuring all work is set out and completed in compliance with the approved design drawings
• Oversee quality control, ensuring all work is carried out to highest industry standards, govern the production of ITPs and WPPs.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Hold a degree in Civil Engineering or equal qualification
• Hold a PTS (a must !!)
• Previous heavy civil and foundation experience
• Recent experience as a Site/Senior Engineer, preferably in rail industry
• Experience of Setting Out techniques
