About the job
You will be working on CP5 projects which include; Structures, Maintenance, Earthworks, Drainage, Property work (stations, platforms, canopy’s etc.) You will have the opportunity to work across 5-10 contracts at a time. Not only will you be a strong Environmental Advisor, you will also have the desire to become a more well-rounded SHESQ individual.
Your responsibilities will include;

Investigating incidents, determining the cause and writing reports on your findings

Inspections and audits
-
Coming up with best practices

Dealing with the regulator

Communicating with the construction team so they have a clear picture of the environmental plan

Training on site per the environmental plan

The Requirements
I am looking for a project enabler who has excellent communication skills, you must be able to educate and train on site to ensure the whole team is singing from the same hymn sheet when it comes to environmental. You must also be enthusiastic about picking up skills within safety, health, quality and sustainability.
You can be from the rail industry or engineering, infrastructure, highways, water, power. If you have a different background to those specified, I am still interested in speaking with you!
You will be degree qualified and if you have a PTS or CSCS card that would be advantageous, as well being a member of IEMA.
The Salary
Up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience +£6,000 car allowance or car, 25 days holiday, single cover healthcare, 5% pension.
