Head of Repair Network in Ashby de la Zouch, GB-WAR, United Kingdom

We are recruiting for a Head of Repair Network to join Siemens Aero derivative Gas Turbine business based in Warwick.  This is a Strategic Commercial role with Service Operations reporting to the Head of Service Operations.  Your role is to design, develop and govern a repair and overhaul network and strategy for AGT aero derivative products globally. 

This role will require an element of global travel you will need to work with departmental management teams across the wider Group to ensure effective and efficient delivery of service to customers, meeting and exceeding their expectations whilst at the same time satisfying the financial objectives of the business and deliver enhanced business processes and governance.  Your role is critical to the success of the AGT product line as the repair network management service is an essential part of the Services offering and paramount to customer satisfaction and our business growth.

We are looking for a strategic thinker with commercial acumen, proven track record of leading contract negotiation, dispute resolution.  You will have experience of managing relationships with partners and suppliers at all levels in the organization and be able operate with gravitas and authority.  You will Ideally have experience in an aerospace or oil and gas manufacturing background.

What are my Responsibilities?

  • Responsible for ensuring Repair & Overhaul facilities have the capability and capacity to support the in-service year on year demand and future fleet expansion.
  • Management of the Repair and overhaul network and development of network strategy for AGT aero derivative products globally. 
  • Lead and develop the Repair Network Capability programme ensuring successful and timely delivery of  new programmes including, new facility, capability expansion and CR vendors
  • Ensure existing Repair & Overhaul Third Party Suppliers, Joint Ventures and wholly owned facilities are licensed and operating within contractual obligations , maintaining governance process and relationship
  • Accountable for commercial management of our Repair & Overhaul maintenance bases, governance and management of Vendor License Agreements and development of global  Repair & Overhaul commercial relationships.
  • Ownership of all Repair Vendor Licence Agreements, including negotiation of new agreements, ongoing contract queries, claims and disputes
  • Development of Component Repair Strategy for Aero derivative Gas Turbines
  • Provide control and governance of Siemens data and Intellectual Property Rights
  • Ensure processes and standards are consistent with those at a Siemens  global/regional/corporate level
  • Maintain and follow safety procedures as required by company policy
  • Global travel to JVs, suppliers and wholly owned businesses for the purposes of providing governance and ensuring contract adherence.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Experience of managing relationships with licenced, JV or wholly owned businesses and gas turbine capability development Repair & Overhaul
  • Be able to demonstrate previous experience of commercial management , contract negotiation and dispute resolution
