Health and Safety Manager- Rail in Doncaster, Doncaster- travel will be required, United Kingdom
ATA Rail are proud to be working in partnership with one of the one of the UK’s leading multi-disciplinary railway infrastructure contractors to source an experienced Health and Safety Manager for their specialist rail division in the North East.
With over 70 years project experience in both the heavy and light rail sectors, our client has worked hard to build a solid reputation of successful delivery which has enabled them to secure significant new work.

If you are successful in securing the role you will be working on the following;

Electrification

Power upgrade
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Incident and accident investigation and reporting
-
Ensuring the project partners understand the internal IMS system
-
Supporting the Project Director
-
Responsible for the management of a Health and Safety Advisor and an Environmental Advisor as well as the team put forward by the other partners on the project
-
Site inspections and audits
Experience required
-
You must understand how the plant operation scheme is controlled
-
An understanding of CDM 2015
-
Rail experience is a must
-
Must have up to date knowledge of Network standards, policies and procedures
-
Strategic thinker
-
Must be flexible on travel
Qualifications Needed
-
PTS is advantageous
-
NEBOSH certificate as a minimum
-
Member of IOSH
The remuneration package for this role is as follows;
-
Up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience
-
Car or car allowance
-
Lodging is paid for when needed
-
25 days’ holiday +8 days’ bank holiday
-
5% company pension contribution
-
