Junior QS/Commercial Assistant (Rail) in City of London, London, United Kingdom
City of London, London, United Kingdom |
£200 per day |
Contract
If you have experience in a commercial support role, in a construction or rail environment, waist deep in spreadsheets and valuations, providing reports for other people to present, we may have a contract role that may be that step up the commercial ladder you have been looking for.
Our major rail infrastructure client, is currently keen to recruit a Project Commercial Assistant for a vital Asset Protection division of the organisation, based in London Bridge on an initial 6 month contract.
As well as the usual key responsibilities for such a position such as cost reporting, assessing contractor applications, producing applications for payments etc, you will have a voice in presenting your analysis and reports to key stakeholders within the organisation so key business decisions are made based on your data.
This is a vital role for the organisation, so you will have demonstrable commercial experience in a rail or construction industry, with excellent Excel knowledge and ability to report, analyse and recommend financial data. Knowledge of Oracle Projects will also be required for this role. A degree in a relevant subject and membership of a relevant institute would also be desirable, but not essential.
We have a fair and comprehensive selection procedure. It is our policy that there should be equal opportunity for and no discrimination against applicants on the grounds of gender, race, religion or belief, nationality, colour, pregnancy and maternity, sexual orientation, disability, age, marriage and civil partnership, union or non-union membership, socio-economic background or being a part-time or fixed term worker.
