We are currently recruiting for PSV Plant Hydraulic Mechanical Fitter to join our HS2 project based in Birmingham.
As the PSV Plant Hydraulic Mechanical Fitter you will be responsible for the following:
Duties:
*Applies of RAMS for the installation and maintenance of bespoke equipment.
Perform maintenance on hydraulic devices and networks
Production
*Be able to troubleshoot & repair plant and equipment.
*In charge of the manufacturing of any kind of hydraulic flexible.
*Manage a stock of flexibles to be kept at any time on site
*Be able to work as a team with other fitters, welders, electricians and S/C technicians.
*Carries out testing, servicing, and repairs of plant and equipment in an organised and professional manner. In case of difficulties or delay, informs his management.
*Flexible with time to work out of normal hours and some weekends to carry out, PPM, repairs, or to solve urgent breakdown issues to ensure the least possible downtime to critical plant and equipment.
*Gives support to the delivery team

Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 - 18:00
Rate: Negotiable
The following experience/ skills are essential:
*Previous operational experience, and experience in plant and equipment maintenance
*Recognised as an in hydraulic specialist.
*Mechanical plant trades certificate
*Relevant CSCS or CPCS card, and clean car driving license
*IPAF Card, ideally 3A+3B
