The Company

Our client is a specialist in the design and refurbishment of components and modifications to Rolling Stock including traction, braking systems and chassis. A critical part of this companies hand back of Rolling Stock falls onto the heads of the Paint Sprayer teams who put the final touches on the fleets of trains. They have been around for over 100 years and are constantly churn out project after project of the highest quality for a variety of extremely satisfied TOCs and ROSCOs. The time has come to welcome some additional, experienced painters to the team.

Your Role

As a Paint Sprayer you will be responsible for ensuring that the Rolling Stock returns to its owners / operators in the best condition possible. With the smartest, most perfect finishes and the finest interiors. The work is repetitive but you will be used to that given your previous experience as a Paint Sprayer. You will be expected to continually churn out faultless Rolling Stock vehicles to the specification of each individual client. You are not just another Paint Sprayer. You play a critical part in the satisfaction of the customer when it comes to handing back the new and improved Rolling Stock. Its people like you that ensure our client always gets repeat business.

You

You will most likely be painting some kind of large vehicle at the minute, or at least have recent experience of doing so. Maybe you currently Spray aircraft or tanks and are keen to enter the thriving Rolling Stock market. Or maybe you are already a bit of a face as a Rolling Stock Paint Sprayer. Either way you will be passionate about success and will be looking for a long-term Paint Sprayer contract. The clients projects vary in fleet size but this role would see you getting involved in a whole host of different work for many different clients.

Your Reward

As the latest addition to this famous organisation you will receive an hourly rate of between £17 and £19 per hour with uplifts for overtime and the opportunity to work on a variety of different rolling stock. Good people are extremely valued and very looked after here. Once in (if you perform) you won’t want to leave, but if you ever do you will have a variety of projects and Rolling Stock on your CV all from this one contract!!!
