This advanced technology business has been operating within the rail industry for nearly fifteen years now and is well known throughout the rail sector. They have various depots all over the UK including Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, London, Southampton, and Northampton and have secured various large valuing projects up and down the country.

ABOUT THE JOB

This is an exciting opportunity for Project Engineers who thrive off working in challenging yet highly rewarding scenarios. In this role, you will be conducting investigations into brand new fleets and producing reports into engineering issues and technical defects. You will be producing risk assessments and giving recommendations for new repair processes.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

This role requires someone that has a vast amount of experience working as a Project Engineer within an engineering manufacturing, rail or rolling stock background. They need someone with an analytical mindset that is experienced at looking at engineering issues and conducting in-depth investigations into safety defects and technical issues. The ideal candidate for this role needs to be a vibrant and dynamic individual that works well in high pressure situations and can think on their feet.

THE REQUIREMENTS

If you are the right candidate for this role you will have a solid track record working within an engineering manufacturing, rail or rolling stock discipline as a Project Engineer. You will need a minimum of a HNC/ HND and preferably Chartered or working towards Chartership.

THE SALARY

• Between £45,000- £55,000 depending on experience + competitive bonus
