Project Managers - Midlands in Birmingham, Midlands, United Kingdom
My client is one of the leading consultancy providers to the Infrastructure Sector and are currently looking for Project Managers with proven post qualification experience, to help contribute to the growth of their Infrastructure business.
The Project Manager will be working on the successful delivery of a portfolio of infrastructure projects in Aviation, Rail, Energy, Highways and Water.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Managers are likely to:
Have worked on NEC infrastructure projects
Work on larger or more complex projects or may be assigned responsibility for a number of smaller projects.
Provide advice at a strategic level at the project inception stage
Lead the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
Establish effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project delivery
Project Managers will also be required to deliver assigned projects to meet client requirements and achieve business outcomes, whilst:
Managing project budgets
Scheduling activities, managing risk and maximising financial return and opportunities
Managing the integration of project work streams
Engaging with a broad range of stakeholders on key issues to resolve project constraints
Analysing performance and commercial data and advising our clients on appropriate actions to achieve optimal outcomes
Planning and management of procurement exercises
You will ideally:
Have client facing experience with the ability to develop client relationships across all delivery routes.
Contribute to the development of their service offering through identification of opportunities and creation of value added service propositions
Contribute to the development of bids and the securing of new work
Effective commission management and financial management
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIECE:
Ideal candidates are likely to be degree qualified in a construction or engineering related discipline
Chartered status or an appropriate PM qualification or be working toward it
Experience advising or working for clients on the delivery of infrastructure projects
Experience of project delivery through all stages of the lifecycle
Delivery experience in one or more of the following sectors - Aviation, Rail, Nuclear Energy, Water/Wastewater, Highways,
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to successfully manage and deliver projects
Extensive experience of managing various applicable contract forms
Extensive practical experience of administering contracts under NEC forms will be a distinct advantage
Experience of working on major infrastructure projects is also highly desirable
