Job Title – Quantity Surveyor – Rail
Location - Birmingham
Rate - £300- £350 per day
Duration – 6 months
The role of a Quantity Surveyor:
You will provide pre-and post contract commercial support to the delivery teams in accordance with the requirements of the Rail Project.
Providing details of project/programme
Standard QS remit/duties
Team activity ranges from small tarmacking jobs on a service road through to refurbishments of roofs/platforms in stations
You will ideally have:
Qualified QS - site experience required
Training for MRICS qualification
Strong negotiation skills
Strong understanding of construction industry forms of contract
Experience of managing investment projects
The Background:
