Location – Salford, Manchester

Our next apprenticeship starts in April
What will it cover? The programme will comprise of onsite learning, classroom based learning, Onsite assessments and distance learning over 12-14 months.
What will I need? All applicants must possess a minimum of GCSE's in Mathematics and English. You should have good communication and be able to work well as part of a team. Candidates should be practically minded and be able to display an interest in engineering. A great attitude towards learning and a determination to succeed.
What qualifications will I achieve? L2 Diploma in track maintenance, the highest level of award within the level 2 programme. L2 Certificate in rail engineering underpinning knowledge Functional skills L1 in Maths and English PTLS, Personal learning and thinking skills, and ERR, Employment rights and regulations. The above qualifications make up the complete apprenticeship framework.
Upon successful completion of an initial 6 week traineeship, candidates will have the privilege of transitioning onto our industry leading 12 month apprenticeship. When they complete the full programme the candidate will be presented with certificates from the prestigious City and Guilds to help give them a boost in their career within the rail industry.
