Job Title: Road and Rail Engineer

Location: North West UK

Rate: £300 - £500 per day LTD

Duration: 6 months

I am currently recruiting for a Road and Rail Engineer to assist in the delivery new road and rail schemes for a major project in the North West. Working in a multi-discipline team you will assist in the design, development and delivery of new schemes.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate some or all of the following:

1. Educated to degree level in engineering or equivalent in a relevant discipline, or equivalent through experience
2. Chartered Engineer status and membership of relevant institution
3. Experience of the Highways Agency SAR process specifically the early stages
4. Experience of the Network Rail Guide to Rail Investment Process (GRIP) process specifically GRIP 2-4
5. Experience of the design of new road schemes and highways upgrade schemes
6. Experience of the design of new rail schemes and existing infrastructure upgrades
7. Experience in developing and working to engineering processes, including the various stages of design (requirements management, optioneering and concept design selection)
8. Consistently demonstrates role model behaviour in line with client company values: ambition, teamwork, integrity, accountable and safety
