Ford & Stanley – The Rail Recruitment Experts are working with one of our UK based rail clients who are a provider of software products for railway operations and signalling to recruit for a Project Resource Coordinator.

Due to the rapid expansion of this organisation, this role calls for an experienced resource coordinator professional, with a background in working in a pressurised environment, to support the Head of Operational Resource.

• Updating the resource spreadsheet on a regular basis to support scheduling efficiency
• Production and maintenance of competencies, site safety induction information
• Booking training courses in line with the Learning and Development plan
• Maintenance of training records both Internal and External courses
• Contribution to learning and continuous improvements activities
• Helping with the co-ordination of the Engineering resources over multiple geographical sites
• Maintaining commissioning calendar and resource approvals from other departments
• Assisting in the recruitment of new resources from arranging interviews to ordering new equipment and helping with the on-boarding and induction of new staff
• Assisting with Contractor recruitment and associated administration tasks

Qualifications & Experience

This role is ideal for candidates who can thrive in a fast-moving environment. Your strong

communication skills are imperative in liaising with project managers to ensure successful resource requirements are delivered.

Essential

• Previous experience within a resource allocation role
• Excellent Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel
• Microsoft Project 2007 onwards
• Excellent communicator – flexible and approachable
• Pro-active, with a ‘can-do’ attitude

Desirable

• Experience within a Railway or Engineering environment desirable but not essential
