This role is to primarily work mobilisation and early transition phases of handing over from the local council to maintainer.
This role will:
Lead the review of Signalling and Telecoms documentation, strategies, standards and operating procedures and recommend improvements.
- Develop Draft Annual Maintenance Plan for the Signalling and Telecoms asset disciplines in conjunction with Amey Strategic Consulting
- Review and update maintenance processes, workflow and Task Instructions
- Set standards for engineering competence
- Ensure all subcontractors have been selected and contracts in place and signed before contract Commencement Date
- Provide advice to Engineering Mobilisation Workstream leader (WSL)/Director of Engineering on the implementation of an ISO5000 compliant asset maintenance regime for Metrolink Signalling and Telecoms assets.
- Develop asset hierarchies, attributes, data mapping and workflow for incorporation into the Enhanced Agility CMM system.
- Knowledge of Axle counters, mass detectors, track circuits
- Exposure and understanding of Passenger information systems, Radio PHP/EHP. CCTV, SCADA
