Contracts Manager to lead and manage the winning and the delivery of a number of specified projects across OHL, Cabling and Substations in accordance with the Power Strategic Plan. Responsible for the overall profit and loss of these contracts whilst ensuring the highest standards of safety, sustainability, environmental and quality are implemented.

You must have Proven experience at Management Level and maintain a collaborative working environment which ensures client, internal and other stakeholders’ requirements are effectively managed. Must be able to engage with your team keep them motivated and engaged to deliver.

This is a permanent role paying circa £85k plus car based in Dartford

Key Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with other Managers to ensure best opportunities for our Client are targeted and that the resources are utilised in the most efficient way.
• Get left and ensure effective mobilisations
• Show clear and visible leadership and display the right leadership behaviours

Skills Required:

• Power Industry background
• Experience of Management and Delivery of Overhead Line, Cabling or Substation schemes up to 400kV preferable.
• Proven track record in tendering and managing complex projects, including sub-contractors
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in risk management analysis
• Commercial awareness with budgetary and Financial control
• Ability to work across conflicting interest groups to develop solutions to complex operational and commercial problems

Comfortable with ambiguity, able to tease out sensitive issues and lead cross-functional teams towards solutions
