Due to continuous development a key contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Planner to join their established team on a major civils/fit-out project. The position is going to have a specific involvement in the systemwide, fit-out and M&E.
Key Responsibilities;
- Experienced in the use of project planning software (Primavera)
- Extensive experience in programme and project management, project planning, including programme controls, project review, and cost and risk analysis
- Ability to plan construction works from first principles
- Accountable for the sign-off of deliverables produced by the Programme Planner and EVM and Project Planning Assistant in the appropriate business area
- Task-management of the planner and EVM and Project Planning Assistant in the appropriate business area
- Accountable for ensuring the quality of the Planning deliverables in accordance with associated policies, procedures and guidelines
- Work breakdown structure
- Resource loading
- Project level IMS (Integrated Master Schedule)
- Accountable for leading and integrating the input into the month-end process including:
- Updating schedule progress
- Undertaking schedule forecasting
- Updating milestone status and critical path analysis
The successful applicant will ideally have a fitout/M&E background within rail. Also if you have previously worked for contractors that would be beneficial.
