Senior Project Engineer Systems Inside IR35
Contract Term: 12 Month
Contracting Authority: Network Rail
Location: Leeds/ Hybrid. 3/5 days onsite.

As Senior Project Engineer Systems your main key responsibilities would be to:
To act as DPE for the allocated project as defined by NR/L2/RSE/02009, the TRU ECMP and TRU West ECMP. This role will be focussed on the Healey Mills Depot/Stabling.
- Ensure PEs and CREs work together in a collaborative manner to meet the design to cost and efficient delivery targets.
- Lead Design Integration Reviews with the TRU West CEM to ensure consistency between disciplines and interfacing projects and to ensure solutions are aligned to the required outputs. This includes certification through Route Wide IDRs.
- Ensure external assurance processes including from the Digital Train Control team, Environment Agency, Highways Authority etc. are integrated with the Network Rail assurance processes.
You’ll have essential experience of the following demonstrated on your C.V:
- Major multi-disciplinary rail infrastructure programmes.
- Engineering assurance arrangements including CSM and TSI requirements.
- Designated Project Engineer roles or ability to operate at that level with mentorship.
- Collaborative skills for working effectively across Alliance participants.
It is desirable but not essential that you also have the following criteria/ qualifications:
- Degree level qualification and Chartered Engineer recognition (or working towards CEng).
- Professional membership of a relevant engineering institution at IEng or CEng level.
- Line / team management experience.
- Resource forecasting.
