Senior Rail Infrastructure Assessors/Consultants - Permanent and Contract Options Available
Are you looking for an opportunity to join a global multi-disciplinary rail consultancy who provide services in expert advice and independent assurance consultancy services, including NoBo, DeBo, AsBo and ISA across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia?
Ford & Stanley – The Rail Recruitment Experts are assisting one of our major clients with a recruitment drive to grow and develop their infrastructure consultancy, safety engineering and assurance business area sector.
The Role
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: -
- To lead the technical assessments on a NoBo and AsBo project for a major Rail Infrastructure upgrade.
- To check compliance to the relevant track Interoperability requirements. Lead the AsBo assessment activities and audits within their specific field of expertise.
- Undertake the compliance assessment that is required by the TSIs and NNTRs in accordance with the selected assessment module, to confirm the extent of compliance
- Prepare technical reports for submission to clients and the regulatory authorities
- Liaise with consultants and contractors on project issues, and interface with clients on both technical and contractual matters.
- Manage and lead projects as required, controlling budgets, quality and timeliness of deliverables and working with resource managers to utilise the right people.
- Guide and direct the NoBo and AsBo assessors aimed at securing the same quality and consistency of work from each assessor.
- Oversee and review the work of other consultants, including taking responsibility for their technical development if required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree educated in a suitable technical discipline.
- Chartered Engineer or equivalent through a relevant professional institution or able to achieve (desirable)
- Safety engineering experience and preferably AsBo or NoBo although training will be provided.
