Our client is an established international rail systems specialist delivering a major scheme in Glasgow.

With workload already ramping up in 2017, we are looking to recruit a Senior Rail Power Supply Engineer on permanent terms in Glasgow.

The successful applicant will be providing power supply and traction power supply project engineering services

To apply for this position you must meet the following criteria:

• Established rail electrical project engineer with demonstrable experience
• Extensive technical engineering experience of rail LV systems including points heating, 650v signalling power supplies, depot lighting and trackside power
• Traction Power experience
• Experience of relevant design software such as Amtech and Microstation
• HV engineering knowledge is beneficial but not essential
• Applicants must be based in Glasgow or willing to permanently relocate
• Applicants must be fully eligible to work in the UK
• Ideally educated to HNC or higher in electrical engineering
• Strong client facing and professional communication skills.
• This is a permanent or long term contract position based in Glasgow.
