ewi is looking for Site Engineers with experience in road and highway projects to join a well-known international main contractor on their multi-disciplinary project in the south of Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a 650 million PPP project, that aims to expand the motorway from currently one lane to two, as well as construction of various civil structures along the 17 km stretch. The project is expected to be completed by May 2025.

Positions to cover.

SITE ENGINEER/SETTING OUT ENGINEER. 3- 5 years experience in infrastructure/highway projects.
SECTION ENGINEER. 3-5 years of experience in Infrastructure/highway projects. Production experience

Tasks:

Supervision of subcontractor activity/production in the assigned pits

Supervision of construction of civil structures, earthworks, ground moving, asphalt, drainage

Supporting and advising construction teams on site.

Supervise site activity and ensuring the road works are delivered to specification.

Requirements:

Fluent English speaking, reading, writing (min. B2)

Years of experience: +3

Available to join the project as soon as possible or at the last 01.05

Work experience in the UK, highly valued

Experience in highway civil works
