JOB TITLE: Site Quality Inspector/Clerk of Works
LOCATION: Stratford
SALARY: £300-350 Per Day (Ltd)

My Stratford based client are currently recruiting for a Site Quality Inspector/Clerk of Works to join their rail civils project on a contract basis.

THE ROLE
The Site Quality Inspector will be working with the Quality Control/Clerk of Works team

The role will include:
* Monitoring and recording progress against programme, identifying delays
* Gathering and analysing information from a variety of sources
* Demonstrating a consultative approach with the ability to establish credibility, building rapport and effective relationships with clients, contractors and colleagues
* Confidently reviewing, challenging and auditing design
* Engage with the workforce and have a strong presence on site
* Maintain a schedule and producing weekly reports
* Attend quality reviews/meeting
* Review Quality Documentation prepared by the Site Teams, Suppliers, Subcontractors and others.
* Conduct internal audits, supply chain visits, surveillances, QRR etc

ABOUT YOU
* A construction related qualification such as NVQ, HNC, HND, C&Gs or equivalent
* Proven experience of construction - both theoretical and practical
* Experience working on heavy civils and rail projects
* Proficiency in IT - Outlook, MS Package and Digital Dictation
* A passion for quality
* A keen interest in learning
* A desire to keep up to date with current industry standards, improvements and developments
