Technical Administrator in Manchester, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom
Due to ongoing growth, my client based in Manchester is looking for a Technical Administrator to join their company. Ideally environment, health & safety profession experience, with specific knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (‘CDM’). This role will offer the opportunity to progress your career. You will support the Construction Assurance team in delivering key commissions on UK-wide construction programmes. You will be required to gain a good understanding of documents required to be maintained under the CDM and quality management systems to undertake a supporting role in the delivery of key commissions
There is a salary on offer up to £26K which also includes a fantastic benefits package.
Role:
The role is office based office and will include client liaison. The candidate will be expected to have a basic awareness of the management of construction projects and be aware of client requirements so that they can support team members to deliver project related milestones in a timely fashion and with minimal support.
The candidate will have proven experience of working in a team environment and will be able to demonstrate the coordination of information with others and ability to actively communicate with a range of stakeholders. They should be able to demonstrate the ability to adapt to different behaviour patterns to demonstrate growth and personal stretch. Working in a fast-paced environment the successful candidate must be able to work to critical deadlines and provide support and best practice to the team and Leaders.

- CDM knowledge – working previously within construction, rail or civils either as support to CDM Advisors, Designers, Architects or Principal Contractors.
- Experience in the use of SharePoint.
- Experience of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to interrogate data and use Microsoft excel to manipulate information.
- Experience of Microsoft Project software or similar planning tools.
- Ability to interrogate data and use Microsoft excel to sort, filter and present information.
- Ability to use online data management systems such as SharePoint and web-based portals.
