I currently have a fantastic opportunity Telecoms Engineer to join a very, very good client of mine, installing telecommunications systems within the railway environment. Ideally you will be based in the South East of England as this is where the majority of projects will be based.
This is a great chance to be a part of a close knit team at a growing company who currently have exciting projects including a lot of work within the Crossrail programme. My client specialise in infrastructure projects within Rail, Highways, Oil & Gas and Power Stations.
Experience required
* Strong knowledge of Ops Comms on the rails such as; GSM-R (Global System Mobile Rail), FTN (Field Telecom Network), SPT (Signal Post Telephones), PET (Public Emergency Telephones).
* Strong skills as a copper or fibre jointer and splicer.
* Knowledge of SISS (CCTV/PA Systems etc) would be beneficial.
* Track record of success.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Past experience of covering a large area with ability to complete tasks within set timescales.
* Good team player.
