This is a fantastic opportunity for mod 5 qualified assistant testers to join a progressive and exciting company at a critical time in the delivery of a major resignalling project on the London Underground.

The Thales Rail Signalling group has a worldwide presence, with approximately 3,000 people delivering signalling solutions to over 100 different customers in more than fifty countries. We develop and deliver urban and main line rail signalling technology solutions. In the UK we are currently working in association with Tube Lines to deliver signalling upgrade programmes on the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines. The signalling technology, Transmission Based Train Control (TBTC), that Thales Rail Signalling has developed will lead to increased capacity on LUL trains by enabling a seventh car to be added to each train and will also mean a more frequent service because of the ability to run trains closer together.
Primary Purpose of the Role
Main feature of the role will be to assist in undertaking signalling function testing activities between the new Seltrac (Transmission Based Train Control) TBTC system and fixed block equipment currently being operated on the railroad as part of a progressive cutover process.
Key Tasks
Ensuring correct test procedures are available to complete allocated tasks;
Completing testing activities in accordance with approved test procedures, Specifications and plans;
Preparing and reviewing testing documentation in line with the Seltrac validation and verification plan and LUL standards and practice.

You must have knowledge of mass transit signalling and testing working within Rail / LU environment.
