Job Summary
Our Transportation team currently have a vacancy in our Croydon office for a ProjectWise Administrator with experience of working on major infrastructure projects. AECOM are currently expanding their project delivery support team following major project wins.
The successful candidate will report to the ProjectWise Systems Manager and be an experienced and proven ProjectWise Administrator who has previously led the implementation and roll out of the ProjectWise suite of tools across multi-disciplinary and geographically dispersed projects. You will have proven IT and CAD skills in order to assist the ProjectWise Systems Manager to manage the ProjectWise systems both from the IT infrastructure and the CAD user interface sides.
You will have strong business development and client relationships skills and the ability to develop and manage the work of others. You will also have the technical ability and knowledge and competence to guide and teach others.
The Croydon office has an established track record of successfully delivering major rail projects. Our modern office in Croydon has good transport links and accommodates a multidisciplinary transportation design centre. We are now looking to enhance and grow this team with individuals with a sound technical background and share our enthusiasm and determination to support our expanding workload. The team provides design, assessment, inspection, construction support and management services on a wide range of rail projects. The team is involved in projects in the UK, Europe and the Middle East with a variety of clients. Our services offered to our clients include feasibility studies, scheme designs and detailed designs.
Our clients are from the private and public sector and include HS2, Network Rail, London Underground, TFL, Nexus, TfGM, Croydon Tramlink Our current portfolio of works comprises a diverse mix of local, national and international Rail infrastructure projects.

HS2 Line of Route West
Transport for London (TfL) Tramlink Twin Tracking, Croydon to Wimbledon
Tfl Tramlink Extension to Sutton.
Wimbledon Bogie Drop
Neasdon Depot Upgrade
The successful candidate will also be working on projects outside the Croydon office and may require overseas travel.
Job Responsibilities:
The appropriate level of technical expertise is required in order that the Job/ Project Accountabilities listed below can be carried out to the necessary standards.
Providing ongoing support for ProjectWise users both on the AECOMs network and on external projects. Support issues to include integration with CAD and engineering applications, ProjectWise functionality, workspace delivery, and user account management.
Participation in system maintenance activities including system upgrades, system and performance monitoring, and software version testing.
Providing detailed technical guidance to projects and users to facilitate engineering and design work sharing that meet AECOMs current and projected business requirements. Technical guidance to include CAD management procedures, CAD workspace development, plotting and publishing, ProjectWise workflow and environment development.
Providing ProjectWise training for advanced users and new users. Training topics to include ProjectWise basic functionality, advanced ProjectWise features, interoperability of ProjectWise with Microstation and Revit
Minimum Requirements
Working knowledge of computer aided engineering, tools and methodology such as Microstation and Revit
Extensive knowledge of the ProjectWise document management system and experience working in and supporting an engineering collaboration environment.
Knowledge of engineering and design collaboration systems ProjectWise as well as design applications architecture, functionality and delivery.
Experienced in the installation and commissioning of specialised engineering and analysis applications to meet project specific requirements. Problem solving and analytical skills.
Experience with SQL server setup and management.
Good written and oral communication skills appropriate for the position, including the ability to present technical data in a logical concise manner.
Ability to communicate with a wide variety of individuals.
Preferred Qualifications IT or CAD systems training preferred but not required
