Graduate Project Assistant in Norfolk, United Kingdom
As Master Supply Partner, we are proud to be working solely in partnership with the UK arm of this leading international and multidisciplinary infrastructure construction company, specialising in the development and delivery of key infrastructure projects across the globe such as railway construction and systems, roads, tunnelling and fibre optic networks.
Having worked on a number of the UK's most prestigious Major Projects and Alliance Partnerships, they are currently focusing on the funding, design and construction of fibre networks in the UK, and are growing 3 UK regional hubs.
As a Graduate Project Assistant, you will play a key role acting as an interface between the design, delivery and commercial teams, offering project support to enable the effective operation and smooth running of the Project Office.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for managing files, creating documents, correspondence and reports.
- Opportunity to be mentored and gain training across the Planning, Design and Build teams, prior to specialising within either.
- Producing project notices, briefings, and communication updates.
For this position, the ideal candidate should have the following skills, experience and knowledge:
Essential:
- Hold an Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or similar field.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good interpersonal and time management.
- Excellent organisation and problem-solving.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Desirable:
- Previous workplace construction experience an advantage (site or office).
- Knowledge of design or planning software an advantage.
