Job Title:
Graduate Systems Integration Co-ordinator, my client is keen to hear from Graduate/Junior Engineers from all disciplines.
Location:
Central belt of Scotland, commutable from Glasgow, Edinburrgh, Motherwell, Falkirk
Day rate:
£100 - £200 per day, dependant on experience
Duration:
12 months with a potential to join permanent after this
Start Date:
January 2019
Project Information;
Multiple Rail projects across Scotland
To be suitable for the position you must have;
- Either an Engineering background / degree or a Project Management background / degree;
- Ability to communicate well orally and in writing;
Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
- Knowledge of common data environments preferred but not essential;
- Familiarity with the rail environment preferred but not essential;
- Awareness of design codes, specifications and standards relating to core design & construction activities and materials preferred but not essential;
Role Information;
- Liaison with the Engineering team to plan upcoming design review and integration requirements, and to provide feedback to consultants on areas for improvement or shared learning;
- Working closely with the CEM to authorise and issue designs to the client for their acceptance, and to the construction team for their implementation;
- Periodic review of quality plans, including cross-checking against the requirements of interfacing quality plans;
