THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You’re the ideal Health & Safety Advisor if you have experience of conducting safety audits within a regulated or community focussed environment. You’ll have great communication skills and enjoy working with others to develop improvement plans to meet health, safety and environment standards. This role needs someone who is proactive, energetic and approachable. No doubt you’ll have sound IT skills and be familiar with safety systems.

THE ROLE

As the Health & Safety Advisor, you will help develop the safety audit plan and conduct safety audits. You’ll deliver regular reports to highlight successes and detail non-conformances. You’ll then assist managers to create improvement plans, monitor corrective actions and manage the safety system to record all activity. You’re going to get lots of industry training so don’t worry if you don’t have a background in passenger transportation. Your experience in conducting safety audits and ability to engage with different groups is far more important.

THE REQUIREMENTS

You’ll need experience of completing safety audits and have a good understanding of health, safety and environment standards. A NEBOSH and accreditation as an auditor would be great but certainly not essential.

THE PACKAGE

You can expect a salary up to £35,000 per annum, free travel, final salary pension and a superb suite of benefits.
