Rail Safety Manager (Systems) - Middle East

EWI are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Manager (Systems) to join a rail project in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management within the rail industry, with a focus on systems engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety management systems for the rail project.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Lead safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to integrate safety measures into all project phases.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on safety protocols and best practices.
• Prepare and present safety reports and documentation to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in safety management.
• At least 5 years of experience specifically within the rail industry.
• A degree in Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards applicable to rail projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
