Are you passionate about Health and Safety? Do you have a longstanding track-record of upholding regulations and helping shape policy? Then Fawkes and Reece have an exciting opportunity for you!
We're working with a tier 1 contractor to find a talented Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join their Infrastructure Health & Safety team in the Birmingham area.
From your past experience, you will have to demonstrate previous experience of Construction Project Health and Safety Management on top of having live track rail experience with a major client.
Your role will include, but will not be limited to:
- Commitment to the development of an Injury Free Environment
- Advise, coach and guide all personnel with the implementation of the company HSMS
- Mange and produce all monthly reports
- Measure H&S performance of projects, site tours included
- Maintain the H&S competence matrix is
- The role is likely to involve the managing of one or more direct reporting staff
- Collate and accurately maintain all statistical records; reporting subsequent H&S performance data, including trend analysis
- Auditing of trade contractors, designers, suppliers and coordinating with the procurement team
- Support business to win work
- When neccesary, complete PQQs and tender enquiries
You will need to be qualified in:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (minimum)
- Membership of IOSH (at or working towards CMIOSH)
- Sentinel Personal Track Safety (PTS)
The ideal candidate will also demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, the ability to work under pressure and to deadline with strong organisational skills.
