Job Title - Human Resources Business Partner
Location - Eastleigh, Hampshire
Rates - Up to £285.59 LTD/Umbrella OR £250.90 PAYE per day | IN SCOPE OF IR35
About the role:
As the HRPB you will work with the supported business leadership team to deliver the business aligned People Plan and provides pro-active, value add HR support to the supported business leaders across the route on medium term and operational people issues.
This role sits within the Wessex Route of Network Rail. It will have a heavy focus on Employee Relations and a strong Trade Union presence where the successful candidate will be responsible for upholding the already positive relationship built.
What you will do:
- Working closely with the supported business, to implement and deliver the HR Strategy to include; talent, succession planning and change management, in order to support the delivery of business objectives and drive a high-performance culture.
- Work closely and building strong relationships with members of the supported business senior leadership team and other relevant stakeholders. Coach advise and challenge, where appropriate, business leaders on short- and medium-term HR issues as required.
- Provide operational HR support on i.e. organisation change, senior appointments, salary, graduate or apprentice programmes.
- Successfully deliver client responsive, cost effective and integrated people solutions that address key business objectives.
- Reinforce the ownership of people management by the business and line managers.
- Work with appropriate Union representatives to support the business in delivering business solutions.
Your experience will include:
- Previous experience working with Trade Unions
- Strong Employment Law knowledge; ability to judge risk around employment law issues/situations
- Exceptional Employee Relations knowledge; majority of the role will surround Employee Relations
- Excellent technical HR Knowledge - CIPD qualified or relevant experience to demonstrate level of competence
- Proven track record of operating in a complex working environment
