RECEPTIONIST
A large groundworks sub-contractor is looking for a receptionist to be based front of house with construction experience to work in their professional head office in Central/North London!

Responsibilities:
- Switchboard - answer, announce and transfer calls; take and relay messages where necessary
- Meet and greet all visitors in a slick, friendly and professional manner
- Receive/sign for parcels and deliveries; sort incoming post
- Manage meeting room diaries
- Keep all meeting rooms and the front of house area tidy and presentable
- Organise refreshments for guests and meetings; coordinate lunch for meetings where required
- Outgoing post
- Booking couriers and cars
- Keep the kitchen area clean and tidy; unload the dishwashers during the day
- Organise cakes and cards for staff birthdays
- Stock check and ordering of kitchen supplies and drinks for Friday socials
- Work with the sales team to ensure the swift retrieval of sales and design collateral taken to
- external sales pitches
- Raising purchase orders for general office purchases
- Scheduling inductions for new starters
- Assist Group Administration Manager and others with ad hoc admin tasks
The ideal candidate will have:
- A real people person, who loves to help others
- At least 6 months' experience in a reception role is a must
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, with excellent attention to detail and ability to be proactive and problem solve
- Excellent organisational skills; ability to multitask and prioritise workload
