One of major clients, a large public sector infrastructure/ asset management organisation, is currently recruiting an HR Operations Services Lead to be based out of Birmingham (with travel required) on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting time to come into this organisation, as a significant amount of investment has been pledged for a number of major project nationwide, and they have recently conducted an internal re-organisation to reflect this. The HR Operations Services Lead will be responsible for supervising 7 regional HR Managers nationwide and a Regional training Lead. They will be responsible for progressive HR matters such as L&D, regionalised learning, performance and lessons learnt, rather than casework.
The key to this position is people management, even more than HR Generalist knowledge. If you have experience of managing high level teams for complex organisations with strong leadership skills, this could be for you. Knowledge of Human Resources, such as a degree in a related subject or CIPD qualifications would be ideal, but not 100% essential. Excellent communication skills, resilience under pressure, project management ability and experience in guiding others in problem solving are key abilities for this position.
