Job Title: Lead Electrical Engineer

Location: Isle Of Grain, Rochester

Salary: £42,500 - £63,500 depending on skills and experience + annual bonus

Permanent | Full Time Hours

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Lead Electrical Engineer will build an inclusive and high performing team, across disciplines and departments, as required to deliver the role.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Management of works to ensure a safe working environment;
  • Delivery of compliance with legislation and industry best practice;
  • Management of Projects;
  • Delivery of an effective outage strategy;
  • Optimising the maintenance strategy to meet with the needs of our customers / stakeholders;
  • Leading root cause analysis and engineering solutions to defects;
  • Driving innovation to achieve improvements in plant performance;
  • Contract management of strategic suppliers and management of our Contract Strategy;
  • Budget Management for the electrical assets of the power plant.

Your Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will be educated to a minimum of HND level in an electrical discipline and have experience of completing a similar role with a heavy engineering industry. Due to your experience you will have good knowledge of contract legislation, regulation relating to Health and Safety and in regard to legislation for electrical systems.

Good communication skills are essential, and you'll have a demonstrable record of building teams, with a passion for safety and successful delivery against key stakeholder requirements.
