My client currently has an opportunity for a NR/HE Integration Advisor- HS2

Key Responsibilities:-
As the NR/HE Integration Advisor supports the NR/HE Integration Manager and work closely with the Head of Route Engineering to ensure robust design of the interfaces with other significant infrastructure including Highways England (HE) and Network Rail (NR). They lead design activities in conjunction with stakeholders ensuring these are delivered to meet the HS2 programme and manage / coordinate the infrastructure design across area teams. The NR/HE Integration Advisor assists in stake holder meetings supporting negotiation, reporting and contract processes with NR/HE as well as other local authorities and other relevant project partners.
Key Skills, Experience:-
As the Integration Advisor you will have the ability to carry out robust independent checks on a wide variety of designs and produce, interpret and assess specifications, standards and technical reports.
You will have the ability to resolve complex design problems and pay attention to detail.
You will have a track record of working within utilities projects with multiple stakeholders.
You will have the ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with a range of multi-disciplinary stakeholders, demonstrating excellent influencing skills.
You will have the ability to communicate, engage and influence a variety of external stakeholders at public forums.
As the NR/HE Integration Advisor, you will have strong written and spoken communication skills, strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
You will assist the team management with planning and organisational skills, and will have the ability to deliver under pressure to meet tight deadlines whilst gathering input from other functions.
You will have intermediate experience of managing design and engineering, ranging from feasibility to detail design, working on a large, complex infrastructure project.
Qualifications Required:-
Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Chartered engineer (or equivalent relevant experience.
