Cheshire, Cheshire, United Kingdom |
GBP £28000 to £32000 per annum |
Permanent
McGinley Support Services are currently working with an innovative manufacturing business in the North West to source a Maintenance Engineer.
With an excellent order book, movement to larger premises and continual investment in NPD (new product development) this manufacturer has scaled up over nearly 40 years to become a leader in its field, a position it has no intention of losing within the next 40 years, which gives the employees a genuine sense of security in an increasingly volatile employment market.
Based in Cheshire this business is an SME in a niche area, in which it is widely recognised to be the only manufacturer of its' main product line in the UK and a leading business worldwide.
Innovation is at the heart of everything the business does and as such it is looking for like minded, driven individuals to join the team at a time of sustained growth.
Supporting both the main production function and the research and development team on NPD, you will be responsible for all PPM activity and ensuring all part inventories are kept current.
You will be involved in planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance covering 2 production sites working with pumps, gearboxes, drives, heating equipment, drives and PLCs (Allen Bradley and Siemens)
As a qualified electrical engineer with a manufacturing maintenance background, you will be comfortable working to your own initiative, with the drive and confidence to guide and mentor maintenance personnel and apprentices.
The role will also be to support the production for two locations in Cheshire so the ability to travel on occasion will be required, as will the ability to drive.
The role is within easy commute of the M56 corridor in Cheshire and will pay up to £32,000 plus benefits, depending on experience.
