Job title: Railway Infrastructure - Asset Maintenance Consultant
Job location: Various (Regional Offices Midlands or South & Client Visits)
Salary: £60-70k DOE + Excellent Benefits including private healthcare and annual performance bonus
Key Responsibilities
You will join a leading rail consultancy to deliver on projects supporting the UK's rail infrastructure management. This will be from Bids through to delivery of various projects for operators, Network Rail and other infrastructure owners across the UK.
Maintenance Optimisation Consultant (Infrastructure biased)
Experience of delivering and/or implementing:
Person Profile
Minimum Requirements:
Degree in a relevant discipline (engineering biased)
Knowledge of relevant operational standards for maintenance management - e.g. ISO 55000 / 55001
Asset Management Strategies and Plans experience
Knowledge of Asset Management Maturity Measures
Asset Information & Data Management experience
Assessment of Asset Management Regimes
Analysis of asset data in excel or other statistical packages
Knowledge of the asset data systems (eg Ellipse), asset management models and asset management processes used in the UK railway industry
Desirable Experience:
Detailed understanding of railway maintenance regimes (eg in one or more infrastructure asset signalling, p-way, electrification, control systems etc)
Reliability and /or maintenance improvement programmes
Safety incidents and recovery plans
Management of teams delivering work on these areas
Bids, Business Development, Costings or Commercial Project Management experience
Skills
Significant rail sector experience. We would welcome applications from individuals with experience in any railway asset. Those of most interest are: signalling, traffic management / train control, communications, electrification and track.
Candidates with client relationships and the aptitudes to be able to build further relationships.
Candidates who can undertake work themselves to a high standard and also lead small teams.
A can-do attitude, the willingness to look for solutions to novel client problems and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
