Job title: Rolling Stock Engineer (Maintenance)
Salary: £35-45kpa
Location: Nottinghamshire
The Company:
Working on behalf of the operator you will ensure that rolling stock maintenance is delivered to an acceptable level by the maintainer under the current service contract.
You will be an experienced engineer that ideally has a background within train maintenance, maintenance support or maintenance management.
Key Responsibilities
*Inspecting and approving train maintenance plans
*Ensuring suitable maintenance delivery
*Ensuring the fleet performance and reliability meets the required standards for service
*Troubleshooting any issues within maintenance, reliability or performance of the fleet
*Investigating any failures and following up concerns with the relevant suppliers
Person Profile
*Ideally level 4 (HNC) qualified or higher within any engineering discipline; we will however consider level 3 (NVQ/C&G/Apprenticeship) qualified engineers with previous team lead, production management, fleet engineering or TSSA experience
*Strong communication skills and experience of dealing with fleets in service is essential
