Rolling Stock Maintenance (Passenger) Manager

Native English, Dutch or German Speakers

Job Purpose

Direct and manage all maintenance activities for Passenger Trains

Experience Required

• 10 years relevant experience.
• 10 Years experience with a major OEM will be an advantage.
• BSc Eng qualified as a minimum

Key Accountabilities

• Manage Passenger Train Maintenance function and set RCM targets.
• Prepare Budgets and Staffing Plans
• Ensure that Procedures are followed
• Ensure Safety Standards are met
• Ensure Staff are suitably Trained
• Manage Supervisors
• Ensure Reliability Centred Maintenance goals are achieved

Job Context

• The Rolling Stock Maintenance (Passenger) Manager is the key person responsible for ensuring Passenger Trains are maintained at optimum levels.
• Key person responsible for minimising Maintenance costs and utilisation of tools and material.
• Key person to ensure workplace safety.

Communications

Internal:

• RS Director; other BU’s; Maintenance Planning; Supply Chain Procurement; Ops Department;

External:

• OEM’s; Spare Parts suppliers; material suppliers

Frameworks, Boundaries & Decision Making Authority

• Approved Budget; Company Maintenance Procedures and original equipment’s manufacturers (OEM) Maintenance Instructions.
• Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
• Operations Processes

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES:
