Senior Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Derby

Salary: Will include salary of up to £45k dependent upon experience, a company car, 20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays.

Pearsons Engineering Services is a dynamic railway engineering company based in Derby. We are looking to recruit a Senior Maintenance Supervisor to join our Pway / Track team. Responsibilities include managing a team, supervising railway infrastructure repairs and projects, preparing weekly schedules, overseeing various maintenance activities and ensuring the work is completed on time and to budget.

In addition, the role will ensure that plant and equipment inventories are maintained, conducting preventive maintenance work, follow-ups on maintenance and repair work, carrying out safety inspections and establishing strategies to meet workload demands.

The successful candidate will have well founded experience of the railway environment along with -

• In depth knowledge of railway infrastructure
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Multi tasker who demonstrates strong decision-making and performance management skills

Applicants should be flexible in their approach as the role will require travel to sites to conduct a wide variety of railway infrastructure related projects and activities. Shift working including weekend working will be required within a 40 hour week.
