McGinley Support Services are currently supporting a leading provider of parts and services within the Train Rolling Stock industry.
Our client is seeking an Assistant Contracts Manager to provide support in delivering and meeting customer requirements, liaising with key customers including external and internal key supply chain partners, in partnership with onsite technical and operational teams.
Role:
Support the management with end to end process for bogie & wheelset overhaul to include:
*Ensuring the timely availability of all required materials.
*Close liaison with operational teams to:
*Facilitation of both incoming and outgoing logistics of the rolling stock.
*Effective communication with the customer and proactive management of any issue.
*To develop long term relationships and service offering through opportunity based initiatives.
*Develop and maintain key relationships with a designated customer portfolio.
*Lead regular contract and performance reviews with the customer to monitor service performance together with the production KPI's meeting and proactive management of actions.
*Initiate and support improvement initiatives.
*Ensure transactional process are completed in a timely manner.
The Person:
*Be able to work under own initiates and to tight deadlines.
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
*Good organisation skills and time management skills.
*Be proactive in identifying and managing issues.
*Experience of the rail sector is desirable.
*A working knowledge of project plane
*Strong IT Skills (ERP & MS Office)
The ideal person would be, someone who is looking to develop their Project Management and or Contract Manager skills and wishing to join a Global expanding company. You will be given hands on experience of managing key customer contracts and support in developing your skills.
