Contracts Manager – London - £55-60,000 per annum + benefits

My client is a leading rail company and are looking to take on an experienced Contracts Manager that will be able to support the rolling stock team in relation to managing their Siemen’s contract, as well as the annex services to enable their new trains to be available, and to achieve corporate objectives.

Requirements:

• Contract Management Experience in the rail industry
• Tender management experience
• Advanced customer and supplier relationship management skills
• Accomplished analytical skills
• Confident negotiator
• Strong communication and influencing skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide operational supplier performance management for multiple contracts
• Provide a lead role in the operational delivery and proactive monitoring of contracts and supplier performance, including:
  • Managing performance to SLAs and against KPIs
  • Ensuring all other contractual obligations are fulfilled
  • Managing the customer experience, including handling any comments or complains
  • Delivering continuous improvement: regular benchmarking, improving customer experience, maintaining regular contact with railway sector
• Review forecast based on consumption, leadtime, production requirements and place orders and RFQ accordingly
• Address material shortages: identify problems and put in place mitigating actions considering the main stakeholders, such as the planning team, production, store and material
