Samuel Knight International are pleased to be recruiting for a key, growing, principal contractor who are building their next growth phase out of Birmingham - one of the hubs of Rail design & build during CP6 and forthcoming HS2 works.

Our client have an excellent reputation, and owing to the growth of their existing Rail business in the North of England, they have an opportunity for a Contracts Manager to begin a new journey.

The role of Contracts Manager will hold responsibility for successfully delivering projects in the South - covering areas from Manchester south to the second city. Our company have an office in Lancashire, so this position can be taken by candidates working in Birmingham or Lancashire.

This role will be key in our clients delivery of work on the LNW framework.

The key responsibilities of this role will be to:

• Lead from the front in managing relationships with Network Rail (client) and partners.
• Successfully deliver construction projects within the LNW framework.
• Leading, developing & enhancing our clients team out of the Birmingham location to deliver successful frameworks.
• Ensure all activity and project works are delivered to the highest safety standards

The successful candidate will already have a proven track record in this area. Delivering multi-disciplinary projects within the Rail sector. In addition to these responsibilities, you will hold commercial responsibility and use demonstratabile ability to build new relationships externally & internally.

This is a role where you can make a real difference and become a leading figure in an already established business, seeking a new figurehead for expansion.
