We are currently searching for an Engineering Management System (EMS) senior engineer to join HS2 responsible for developing the technical standards, requirements and specifications to which a system will be designed and constructed as outlined in Command Communications and Signalling (CCS) strategy.
HS2 involves around 45% of the line in tunnels that will ne complex in nature. As an individual you will ideally have experience in the operational control systems, railway dependent on long tunnels and their associated systems. Them being:
Tunnel ventilation
Tunnel Drainage
Lighting Systems
Control and Communication systems
You will be apart of the EMS group, implementing a system which will enable a controller to manage the critical assets to enable safe, normal and degraded operation of the railway environment. This role will involve good knowledge of HV/LV network, tunnel ventilation and will then be configured and will include a SCADA element which will enable an efficient operational control and monitoring system.
Role:
Lead the engagement and management of stakeholders
Provide the technical assurance for engineering asset management and control systems
Lead the development of requirements, specifications and standards
Skills/ Requirements:
Experience in delivery of engineering asset management and control systems
Railway engineering asset management and control systems technology
