We are currently recruiting for a Head of Supplier Management to work on a major rail infrastructure project to be based primarily out of Birmingham.
The Head of Supplier Management will advance and proactively develop the Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) capability within the organisation to deliver best practice supplier management.
The Head of SM will be responsible for leading the supply management function that integrates the SCM and SRM teams to ensure the development and success of our clients Supplier Relationships from early market engagement, through the procurement life cycle, and into the contract delivery and close out.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of Supplier Measurement Systems, public sector procurement and the associated regulations and knowledge of construction contracts; as well as knowledge of applicable EU and UK procurement legislation and Knowledge of the dynamics of supply markets.
