y Client in East Anglia is looking for a Onshore Environmental Site Advisor on a long term contract basis. Rates negotiable.

Key Tasks
General
? Review and understand the scope of work, discuss with the Project Manager/Construction Team and review the contract documents provided by the client.
? Provide support and advice to project based staff throughout construction period on compliance with the statutory environmental / client requirements.
? Work closely and fully coordinate with Client project management, commercial, wayleaves, landowner and 3rd parties and consents compliance teams.
? Lead, support and advise the Environmental Advisors & Ecological Clerk of Works,
? Support and advise Construction Management Team and Project Management Team, as and when required throughout the project.
? Maintain Support the EAONE Environment Manager
? Liaise with contractor Environmental Advisors and with contractor Corporate Environmental Managers
? Develop and/or participate in project environmental training and awareness initiatives
? Compiling, revising, reviewing and communicating the Environmental constraints matrix.
? Maintain project environmental registers and management tools.
? Develop any case studies or alerts relating to the key environmental aspects on the project.
? Revising and updating Onshore Environmental Management Plan as and when required, advise the Construction Management Team of all environmental compliance requirements.
? Review the contractors' documentation to ensure they have addressed the contract environmental requirements.
? Oversee the management and coordination of any pollution incidents with relevant contractor, ensuring incidents are reported and completed within set deadlines.
? Provide input into the production of environmental sections for inclusion in invitations to tender documents and review tender submissions for environmental performance.
? Support and add value to the business Environmental Management System.
? Develop and implement new methods, techniques and practices to improve environmental performance.
? Support the implementation and maintenance of corporate environmental standards in the delivery of projects.
? Report Environmental stats/ trends to OFTO Lead Package Manager
? Update Onshore Environmental Training Matrix
Reporting and Meetings
? Report progress and environmental compliance to the OFTO Lead Project Management team and East Anglia Environment Manager
? Creating, managing and communicating environmental risk register and attend project risk meetings
? Inform relevant managers of any potential environmental risks and aspects.
? Update project programmers of potential environmental constraints.
? Weekly report to Environmental Manager and Package Manager.
? OFTO Monthly report for onshore to project management Environmental Manager and Package Manager.
? Attend Contractor Kick Off and monthly Project Management meetings to provide environmental input and advice.
? Attend environmental/ ecological meetings.
Inspections
? Manage and complete project environmental monitoring and inspection programs to effectively document operational performance, compliance and prepare timely reports required for Project Management review.
? Undertake regular focused site inspections and audits on key environmental aspects monitoring contractor performance.
? Conduct joint site walkovers/inspections/audits with contractors' and Environment Advisors'.
? Ensure closure of inspections actions and oversee implementation of monitoring tools.
? SMARTWASTE review of contractor uploads for waste, fuel consumption and energy usage.
? Surveys and Subcontractors
? Inform the Project Manager/ Environmental Manager of any environmental surveys / monitoring that are required for the project.
? Provide a scope of work for the surveys / monitoring to be carried out.
? Co-ordinate environmental contractor's including Ecological Clerk of Works, Arboricultural Clerk of, liaise with and support provision of specialist support.
? Management and budget control of environmental contractors, including approving invoices.
? Environmental Permit / Licences and Stakeholders (e.g. water abstractions, watercourse crossings)
? Obtain and manage all environmental permits and licence requirements
? Understand regulatory requirements and consult when required with statutory stakeholders to ensure the appropriate permits and licences are being progressed.
? Represent Project at meetings with statutory stakeholders and 3rd parties and taking responsibility for decisions and actions related to environment.
? Liaise with the client to ensure all environmental consent conditions are being managed.
